37 Things That Make Me Happy

Every year for the past few, two friends and I make what we call our "Happy Lists". We list something that makes us happy- one item for every year we have lived. This year I have 37, and all of them make me extremely grateful...

1) My seven-year-old's egg announcements (she collects them from the coop, then brings them inside with a town-crier-like announcement of the day's quantity)
2) Strawberry stands
3) Tropical smoothies
4) My buckwheat pillow
5) Babies
6) Homemade Ice Cream
7) Summer
8) My husband's warm feet

#31 - speaking spanish with my husband...
well, it hardly qualifies for spanish. actually, if there was an actual spaniard in the room, they would probably wonder what we were saying to one another. the main point is this: our kids don't know what we are saying! and if they ever learn spanish, they still won't know what we are saying.

but i do have warm feet...
